Gesture based interaction uses swipes to navigate between camera and photo editor modes.

Tap anywhere on the screen in camera mode to snap a photo.

In camera mode swipe down to reveal buttons for enhancing your photos as you take them. Use the Babble button to add a speech bubble. Use the Sepia button to give your photos a vintage feel.
